The VX Limited brings a whole new level of finish and features to the exceptionally popular VX range.

The new VX Limited combines the power of the brand new Yamaha TR-1 engine with the recently upgraded VX hull, one of the most responsive, fun and versatile hulls designs to ever come out of the Yamaha stable. The TR-1 engine on the other hand is a new three-cylinder power plant delivering increased power to the VX range while significantly reducing overall weight.

The Yamaha VX limited is built for comfort and fun riding on the weekend with friends and family. With this in mind, Yamaha has upgraded components designed to make the VX Limited exceptionally versatile. An exclusive new quick release tow hook makes setting up for water sports such as towing tubes and wakeboarding more convenient, while dual pull-up cleats on each side of the craft make the VX Limited easy to secure at the dock or to pull up next to friends and enjoy a swim.

The VX Limited features Yamaha’s exclusive cruiser seat concept, an ergonomically designed seating layout which delivers excellent comfort and a secure riding position for both the driver and passengers.

And of course, a luxury craft like the VX Limited would not be complete without Yamaha’s intuitive RiDE dual throttle system, delivering simple control of forward and reverse thrust for easy maneuvering and deceleration. RiDE - Reverse with Intuitive Deceleration Electronics

The world's first dual throttle handlebar control system. RiDE is easy, fun and intuitive. Pull the right lever to accelerate and the left lever to decelerate and for reverse. Release the levers for neutral. Pull them both, or in any combination, and the system reacts with precise control. Operation is simple with no manual shifting, no gears and no complicated processes. Benefits include enhanced handling and smooth deceleration.

New VX Hull and Deck

Under the water line is one of the best handling hulls Yamaha has ever designed. Featuring a cutting-edge design with a deeper V-shape Keel, modified hull strakes and softer bow chines; this all-new hull delivers excellent stability for three-up riding and towing, and precise responsiveness and predictability for thrilling one-up riding. The VX Limited is manufactured using NanoXcel for a lighter more agile hull.

1049cc TR-1 Hight Output Marine Engine

With a combination of the ultra-smooth power development, low noise, low fuel consumption and low emissions, the VX is everything today's customers and society ask for in a PWC. It measures 40% smaller thanks to the elimination of the reduction gear, an integrated oil tank, the compact ECU, and an air filter attached to the motor. The 73 kg, 1049cc engine produces 13% more horsepower than the engine it replaces, yet it's 20% lighter in weight. The result is quicker acceleration, higher top end speeds, with better fuel economy and more fun for the rider.

Remote Transmitter

With the ability to control both Low RPM Mode and Security Mode, the remote transmitter can be used to increase fuel efficiency, limit the topspeed or disable the ignition to prevent unauthorised startups.

Multifunction Information Centre

The specially designed meter provides a wide range of information in a clear, easy-to-read format. The tachometer keeps the rider informed about engine RPM, speed and gear selection, while fuel gauge and hour readouts keep track of the running time available. Warning functions are also integrated – so peace of mind comes as standard on all VX models.

Open Looped Cooling System

All Yamaha WaveRunners utilise open loop cooling, which is used by 99% of marine manufacturers. Open loop systems have been proven to be the most effective, reliable and maintenance free solution for marine environments, which means less money and less time off the water.

Metallic Paint Finish

Due to Yamaha's exclusive manufacturing process using NanoXcel materials, engineers are able to complete the package with a stunning metallic paint finish.

NanoXcel Hull and Deck

Yamaha's NanoXcel ultra-lightweight, high strength material reduces the weight of the hull, deck and liner by 25% and provides performance gains in acceleration, fuel savings, top speed and handling. Additionally, the NanoXcel material offers a shinier, gem-like finish which reduces surface tension on the water, providing a more nimble, responsive ride.

Under-Seat storage

Additional watertight storage under the rear seat protects items from water, as well as bringing the combined storage capacity of the VX Limited to a total of 93.2 Litres.

Integrated Mirrors

Compact and streamline, the new integrated mirrors aid in visual awareness, safety and that trademark, edgy Yamaha style.

Extended Rear Platform

Roomy and comfortable, the extended rear platform is the ideal place for soaking up the surroundings, getting in and out of the water or simply doing nothing at all.

Deeper Reboarding Step

A deeper reboarding step has been ergonomically redesigned, making it easier to climb back on board after a swim. Conveniently tucks away when not in use.

Cruise Assist and No Wake Mode

By setting a consistent engine speed, Cruise Assist reduces throttle fatigue – making long tours more comfortable, while No Wake Mode caps the engine’s RPMs at an easy idle speed.
